                                   When June is come,

                                 then all the day,
                                 I'll sit with my love in the scented day,
                                 And watch the sunshot palaces high
                                 That the white clouds build in the breezy sky.
                                 She singth, and I do make her a song
                                 And read sweet poems whole day long
                                 Unseen as we lie in our haybuilt home,
                                 O, life is delight

                               유월이 오면

                                             그럼 나는 온  종일   
                                    향긋한 건초 속에 내 사랑과 앉아
                                    산들바람 부는 하늘에 흰 구름이 지어놓는
                                    저 높은 곳 눈부신 궁전들을  바라 보련다. 

                                    그녀는 노래 부르고, 나는  노래 지으며
                                    온종일 아름다운 시를 읊조리며
                                    둘이서 남몰래 건초집 속에 누워 있으면
                                    오! 인생은 즐거워라
