아일랜드출신 클레식 뉴에이지 뮤지션 [Ronan Hardiman(로난 히드먼)]
신비롭고 다이나믹하며 사색적인 음악으로 뉴에지, 클로스오버팬들의 사랑을
받고있습니다. [Lord of the dance], [Solas]등 발매 음반이 있으며 [Secret world],
[Heaven], [Love song], [New land]등 많은 레퍼터리가 애청되고 있습니다. 아일랜드인들은
문화적 자존심이 무척 강하다고 하는데 우리가 정명훈, 조수미를 자랑스럽게 여기듯이 그들도
아일랜드가 배출한 세계적 스타 뮤지션들이 기라성 같기 때문일것입니다. 70년대를 풍미했던
록스타구룹 [The Doors]의 리더 벤 모리슨을 비롯하여, [U2], [ENYA], 아이돌 스타
[FIVE]와 [SPICES GIRLS] 그리고 잘 들 생기고 잘 부르는 [WESTLIFE], 뉴에이지의
거장이된 '시크릿가든'의 세리 가 아일랜드 출신 뮤지션들 입니다.

 

로난 하디먼은 아일랜드 출신의 작곡가이자 극음악가 입니다.
그는 어린 시절부터 12년동안 공부했던 클래식과 켈틱사운드을 통해
TV 사운드트랙, 광고음악, 영화음악...등등에서 보이지 않게 많은 활동을 해왔습니다.
1996년에는 영화 [My Friend Joe]의 사운드트랙으로 많은 호응을 받았다고 하며 본격적으로
주목을 끌게 된 것은 세계적인 무용수인 마이클 플레트리의 [Lord of the Dance] 공연 성공으로
음악을 맡았던 로난 하디먼도 이와 함께 큰 갈채를 받게 되면서부터라고 합니다.

 이 앨범 [Solas]는 그의 전작인 [Lord of the Dance]를 이으면서도 좀 더 발전적인 형태의 음악을 보여줍니다.
